Jen's baby shower

I made a quick trip to San Diego for my sister in law, Jen's baby shower while Casey watched Jenna. It was a gorgeous event. Her family did a great job. Sara and I made a diaper cake for her that turned out pretty dang good, if I do say so. So excited for this little girl to get here!!!

Brett William Berry

For those that don't know I work part time for two ERA Realtors, Liisa Frei and Stuart Breinholt (amazing people, fabulous Realtors, sooo lucky to work for them!) We also have one more team member, Brett Berry, who works with us every Thursday. Brett is a beautiful young man with Downs Syndrome. I ADORE Brett. He calls himself Uncle Bretty and is so good with Jenna. Anyway last night we went to Brett's roadshow with the special needs branch. It was unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it. They were amazing! They put on the Wizard of Oz. Brett was a Tin Man. Then at the end all the wards came together and sang a song and did the sign language. It was so wonderful. My favorite part though, Brett's double fist pump victory dance at the end of the performance. Such a ham! Love that kid!

Flying home...

So I know I totally already shared pictures of her flight north, but these were too cute not to post. She was great on the flight home. It was a totally different experience. She didn't sleep at all but spent the whole time smiling and playing! So darling.

Maile and Jenna

On our way to the airport this morning we stopped by our niece, Maile's house so that she could get a little time with Jenna. As soon as Jenna got used to her, and Maile got used to Jenna, they had a grand ole' time! Love, love, love Maile! Wish we got more time with her.

Weber State, Weber State, Great, Great, Great!

My cute husband was so excited to take Jenna to her first Weber State sporting event! We intentionally chose a weekend with back to back games. So we got to go two nights in a row. Tonight's game was especially touching for me because it was the 12 year anniversary of when Casey asked me to marry him "live" on air during the post game show at the Dee Event Center. Just felt like we had come full circle!

Jenna during her pre-game nap. Gearing up to focus for the win!

Proud Dad carrying his little one into the arena.

Our dear friend Robb Alexander (game announcer for WSU basketball) help put Jenna to sleep after the game.

"Future" SkyWest flyer no longer applies

OK, not to jinks us...but I am pretty sure we have the best kid on the planet! She went for her first airplane ride to Salt Lake today and she was a total dream. As you can see I let the airline geek aka Casey enjoy the experience of the first ride (thinking it could be disastrous). Here is a play by play...

Jenna calmly, with much interest in all the lights and sounds, made it through security:

She then enjoyed a delicious bottle of formula during take off so as not to effect her ears:

She them promptly fell asleep:

We really couldn't have been more grateful with how it went. Here's to home the flight home is as uneventful!

And we're walking, we're walking...

It finally warmed up enough that Casey and I decided to take Jenna for a walk in her stroller for the first time. She did great and looked so dang cute in her little hat.

Fabulous shoes

Just thought I would share quickly that Jenna wore shoes for the first time today. First of all, how fabulous are her little Keds? Second, let the games begin! LOVE A GREAT PAIR OF SHOES!!!

Cooper's blessing

It was great to be able to support Sara and Chris as they blessed my nephew, Cooper. Uncle Mike did a fantastic job on the blessing. Cooper gets cuter and cuter every time we see him. I feel so grateful that we are able to attend so many of the family events in San Diego!

Sara's birthday

We headed to San Diego for Cooper's blessing. We all went out to eat the night before the blessing to celebrate Sara's birthday. It was fun time but sometimes it is hard to get quality time with that quantity of folks. We had my dad and Holly, my mom, Scoot & Jen, Megan & Kylie, Chris, Sara and their kids, my Uncle Mike & Aunt Janice, my Aunt Lisa and cousin Nathan, and Casey and Jenna. It was quite a crowd!
