Memorial Day

We had a GREAT Memorial Day! We took Jenna swimming for the first time at the Frei home. (They are such amazing and generous hosts) Jenna loved jumping on the trampoline with her Uncle Matt and enjoyed her time with Stuart's granddaughter and her "Uncle" Bretty. She is such a great baby and so easy going. We feel so incredibly lucky!

St. George Roadrunners

One of our favorite things to do during the summer is to go to the Roadrunner's baseball games. Some of friends usually go as well and it is just such a great way to spend a nice summer evening. Plus the food is delicious! Last night Jenna got to enjoy not only her first baseball game, but her first piece of licorice as well. She didn't eat much of it. Just chewed the hell out of the thing. Such a great time!!!

What is this stuff? 2

Jenna had her six month check-up today and got the go ahead to start with baby food. We went with carrots and didn't mix it with cereal so we could get the full taste effect. Her expressions were as her bib states, priceless!

Bounce and bounce and bounce we go...

...when we'll stop, nobody knows!

We set up Jenna's Johnny Jumper (wow, say that three times quickly) and she is in HEAVEN. She is a jumping fool. However, her excitement is in direct relation to the amount of attention she is getting from Casey or me. Last night she was jumping and sobbing while we were in the other room and we came in to check on her. The tears immediately stopped, she grinned from ear to ear, and started jumping so high I thought she was going to bounce right out of that thing. She's such an attention whore!

Cooper vs. Jenna 2

We took some more pictures of Cooper and Jenna in their diapers. This is starting to become a tradition...wonder when we will decide to put clothes on them...

Life's a beach!

We hit Newport Beach today with the group. It was Jenna's first time at the beach and as you can see, she was very excited. Actually she was fairly indifferent, happy she got to eat, but other than that she was more interested in playing with my bracelet. She did not love the cold water! It was a nice day out, perhaps a bit chilly and windy, but nice. Mostly it was nice to get a little time with our friends. Afterward, we headed down south to San Diego to see my family.

California he we come!

We got invited to California by some of our neighbors and decided to join them for a couple of days. We took Jenna to Disneyland and she was (as always) a total dream. She went on almost every ride with us, took great naps in her stroller, and was so cute. The lights and colors were quite fascinating for her. It was a great time!

Girls Night at Kearls

Heather invited a bunch of women and their daughters over to her house last night for a Girls Night. The husbands and boys were at the Father/Son campout for church. It was a fun night. We dressed up like princesses, the girls (and Cutler) got to put make-up on their moms, we painted each others toe nails. Jenna stayed home with Casey, so Heather and I shared her two girls. Most of the moms wanted their make up to be as normal as possible. I didn't really care. It's not like I was heading into public afterward or anything. So Brinlee and Allie went to town on me and Heather.

Ford IronMan in St. George

The IronMan came to St. George this year, and Stuart, Liisa and I volunteered. We were placed at the turn around on the marathon course. We mostly cheered people on. Casey brought Jenna up for a little portion of our time up there. It was a good time, but we nearly froze to death! We had the afternoon session and the wind was blowing so strongly. Liisa was the best cheerleader of us all...
