Girls Night Out!

We had book club last night. I thought it was the right thing to do to get my hair cut to start the evening off right. So here you go, my new do. 

Then I met up with the girls at the theater afterward. The book this month was The Vow. We decided to go to the movie together and then discuss the book and the movie with some dessert afterward. It was a fun night with the girlies and I was so happy to get out with them. That being said, I hated the movie and didn't love the book. Glad I survived them both, but they're definitely not ones I would want to see/read again.  And there you have it...

Remodel Update

Not a whole lot of progress has been made lately. I think we just got so burnt out from the almost non-stop 3 weeks that we have been taking a much needed rest. That being said, I did get the new wall in Jenna's play room spray textured, the rest of walls patched and prepped and the whole room primed. 

Nick also got the shelving units in our master closet installed. The shelves on the left are going to be my shoe shelves. Straight ahead are my shelves on top and the drawers on the bottom are for my jewelry organization. So excited!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Not usually a fan of this holiday, but this year {and this may be the very first year since Casey and I were married that I have done a single for this dumb event} Jenna and I took Casey some Mountain Dew and some chocolate to him at work. He was very surprised as you can imagine. But the highlight was the cuteness that is Jenna!
